The following information includes the abbreviations and descriptions of the immunizations recommended by Snellville Pediatrics. We encourage parents to have their children vaccinated. If you have any questions about any particular vaccine, please contact your child’s provider.

Quadrivalent Human Papillomavirus Types 6, 11, 16, 18 (Injection)
HEP A (2 dose series)
Hepatitis A Vaccine (Injection)
HEP B (3 dose series)
Hepatitis B Vaccine (Injection)
HIB (3 or 4 dose series)
Haemophilus Influenzae Type B Vaccine (Injection)
Influenza (1 or 2 doses annually)
Flu Vaccine (Injection)
IPV (4 dose series)
Inactivated Polio Vaccine (Injection)
Menactra (2 dose series)
Meningococcal Vaccine (Injection)
MMR (2 dose series)
Measle, Mumps, and Rubella Vaccine (Injection)
Pentacel Combo (up to 4 dose series)

Pneumovax (1 dose with possible booster dose 5 years or more)
Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Vaccine (2 years and older at high risk) (Injection)
Prevnar (4 or 5 dose series)

Rotavirus vaccine (Oral)
TDaP (1 dose with a booster dose every 5 – 10 yrs)
